Saving through buying from Shen Kwong Trading Co

My dad sometimes will buy clothing for my son. He mostly buys clothing from Shen Kwong Trading Co which is opposite Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple. He will tell me that they are wholesaler as such their clothing there are inexpensive about 4 shirts for $10 or less. 

One day after a visit to KKH, I decided to check out the store because KKH provides free shutter bus services to Bugis. The store sells many other textiles products for baby and children. I like their clothing which is made from 100% cotton. Cotton is soft and breathable, suitable to wear in hot and humid weather like Singapore. I bought quite a number of their products like shirts, pants, singlets, and underwears. One of my favourite products is the perforated shirts because they are perforated, they are able to give the extra coolness to the child body.

Saving by buying Baby Products from Jin Tai Mart

I used to work in Ubi and found Jin Tai Mart selling baby products at a cheap price. However after realised it for a few months, it closed down but to my surprise it open a new branch at Bedok which is near my house. Wow! it is such a blessing as I can enjoy saving from buying baby products such as diapers and milk powder. This shop also sells other products such as medicine, supplements and toiletries.
 
Let me show you how I save my money through buying from Jin Tai Mart. I usually buy a diaper that cost me about $16 per pack at other shops but buying from Jin Tai cost me only about $13 per pack. And by returning each diaper packeting back to the stall, I am able to to deduct $0.50 for each purchased packet. And if you buy 3 packets each time, you will enjoy a further discount of $1.  As such by buying for the other shops cost me about $16 X 3 = $48. As for Jin Tai Mart it only cost me $13 X 3 - 0.5 X 3 (Bought 3 packets previously) - $1 (Bought 3 packets) = $36.50. The differences are $11.50. As such is about 23% off from the usually price. Saving on Baby Product Samples

When I was working as a business lounge executive, some hotel guests treated me as their friend and recommended good things to me. As such when I was pregnant with my first child, one of the guests recommended me to his sister who is working in a baby product company in order for me to receive baby product sample. Then I realised that some baby product companies do send samples to market their products to potential customers.

After awhile, his sister's company did send me some samples and I really liked them because they are good in quality and affordable. As such I bought the company products for a few years.

When I was pregnant with my second child, I was determined to note down I think all the baby product companies and visited their website to request for samples. The baby product brands that I received so far were Nestle, Drypers, Dumex, Mead Johnson Nutrition, Abbott, Wyeth Nutrition. The samples I received were very handy as they allowed baby (@ different growth stages) & me (@ maternity & lactating stages) to try out their suitability and at a meantime save some of my household expenses especially milk powder which are getting more and more expensive. Hope you will also try out this method that will help you to save on your baby expenses.
